Although they are steps to take, which may not be easy. Some of them apply more to the people who make a gradual shift towards a lifestyle free of meat, while others are more suitable for those who make the change faster. Most of them apply to both.
If you are undecided about becoming a vegetarian, consider the implementation of these measures on the fly. You can apply one to your life each day or week, depending on your preference and what works for you.
Step 1: Identify reasons for wanting to change your diet.
Carefully consider your main motivation to follow a meatless diet. Want to end the suffering animal? Saving money? Helping the environment? Improve your health?
These are all good reasons to be vegetarian. However, it is important to know what mean the most to you.
